Tad Pospisil attends Yankee Dirt Track Classic at Farley

On Friday afternoon Tad Pospisil invaded 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) to take part in the two-day Yankee Dirt Track Classic. Drawing a stout field of 50 Late Models for the event co-sanctioned by the Malvern Bank and Hoker Trucking Series’, Pospisil laid down the fastest time overall in qualifying before placing third in his heat. Starting the opening night feature in fourth, Tad faded back to a 15th place outing in the 35-lap affair.

The following night for the $10,000 top prize, Tad again topped the speed charts in time trials before coming home second in his heat behind Justin Zeitner. Dropping six spots in the 50-lap feature, Pospisil recorded a 12th place finish. (Mike Ruefer photo)
