Pospisil conquerors Malvern Bank foes to complete weekend sweep
Tad Pospisil returned with the Malvern Bank Series on Friday afternoon at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) powering his Window World No. 04 Late Model. After topping the 27-car field in time trials, Tad marched through the field five spots in his heat race to pick up the win. Earning the third-starting position for the A-Main, Pospisil turned back challenges from Ben Schaller following a late-race caution to secure his third-straight win and sixth overall of the season. Taking the checkers ahead of Schaller, Andrew Kosiski, Justin Zeitner, and Jason O’Brien, Tad earned a $3,000 payday. (Todd Boyd photo)
On Saturday afternoon at Off Road Speedway (Norfolk, Neb.) for the Bob Haase Memorial, Pospisil laid down the fastest time overall in qualifying before coming in third in his heat race. Starting the feature in fifth, Tad outran Bill Leighton Jr. to capture his second win in as many nights and seventh of 2020. Topping Leighton Jr., Andrew Kosiski, Kyle Berck, and Jim Johnson at the line, Pospisil pocketed a $3,000 prize.
With his two-win weekend, Tad strengthened his lead atop the Malvern Bank Series point standings. For more results from these events, please visit www.SLMRSeries.com.
