Runner-up finish with Hoker Trucking Series at Mason City

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday night’s opener at Lafayette County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa), Tad Pospisil followed the Hoker Trucking Series to Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) on Saturday evening for the $3,000 top prize. Drawing 31 cars, Pospisil timed in fourth fastest overall before placing fourth in his heat. Losing four spots in the 35-lap feature, Tad recorded a seventh place finish.

On Sunday afternoon at Mason City Motor Speedway (Mason City, Iowa), Tad secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win finale with a third place finish in his heat. Charging forward six spots in the 35-lap affair, Pospisil notched a runner-up finish behind Justin Kay with Jason Hahne, Jeff Tharp, and Andrew Kosiski rounding out the Top-5.
