Tad Pospisil Rules Stuart Speedway for Second Win of the Season
On Wednesday afternoon Tad Pospisil was one of 39 Late Models on hand at Stuart Speedway (Stuart, Iowa) for the event co-sanctioned by the Malvern Bank Series and the Hoker Trucking Series. Following the fastest lap overall in time trials, Pospisil gained two spots in his heat to register a fourth place finish. Earning the fourth-starting position for the main event, Tad overtook Charlie McKenna for the lead on lap 20 and led the remaining 15 circuits en route to his second win of the season and a $3,000 payday. The following night at Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa) in a stout field of 35 Late Models, Tad passed two cars in his 8-lap heat race to register a third place finish. Earning the third-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Pospisil improved one spot in the 30-lapper to place second behind Jeff Aikey with Bill Leighton Jr., Josh Leonard, and Andy Eckrich rounding out the Top-5.
Wrapping up the Malvern Bank Series tripleheader on Friday, Pospisil headed to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the $4,000 top prize. Drawing 28 cars, Tad came in second fastest in his group behind Bill Leighton Jr. before picking up a heat race victory from sixth.
