Top 5 Finish in Season Opener at New Raceway Park

With the promoters and track officials mandating several precautionary measures to host the event during the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, Tad Pospisil kicked off his 2020 season on Sunday afternoon at New Raceway Park (Jefferson, S.D.) with the Spring Thaw. In a stout field of 31 Tri-State Late Model Series entries, Pospisil jumped up one spot in his heat race to place fourth. Earning the 13th-starting position for the $1,000-to-win A-Main, Tad advanced through the field eight spots to register a fifth place finish behind Corey Zeitner, Justin Zeitner, Casey Skyberg, and Blair Nothdurft.
