Pospisil captures $5,000 Bill Rice Memorial at Hamilton County

Saturday night found Tad Pospisil in action at Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa) making his lone start of the weekend for the Bill Rice Memorial. Drawing 33 Late Models for the event co-sanctioned by the Malvern Bank Series and the Hoker Trucking Series, Pospisil topped the charts in time trials before passing two cars in his heat race to place fourth. Overtaking early pacesetter Bill Leighton Jr. near the midway point of the feature, Pospisil led the remaining 15 circuits in the 35-lapper to register his sixth win of the season. He took the checkers ahead of Kyle Berck, Charlie McKenna, Jason Hahne, and Jeff Aikey to claim $5,000.
