Pospisil scores runner-up finish at I-80 Speedway

Tad Pospisil invaded I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Friday afternoon to kick off the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series. Gaining three spots in his heat race to pick up the win, Tad locked into the sixth-starting position for the opening night feature. Advancing forward four positions, Pospisil posted a runner-up finish behind Bill Leighton Jr. with Jake Neal, Todd Cooney, and Ben Schaller rounding out the Top-5.

For the Malvern Bank Series sanctioned event on Saturday at Off Road Speedway (Norfolk, Neb.), Pospisil came in third in his heat, which positioned him fifth on the starting grid for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 30-lap affair, Tad posted a sixth-place finish.
