Fourth-place finish at Rapid Speedway, steals points lead

On Friday afternoon, Tad Pospisil followed the Malvern Bank Series to Rapid Speedway (Rock Rapids, Iowa) for the $3,000 prize. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Pospisil locked into the second-starting position for the A-Main. Losing two spots in the 30-lap affair, Tad notched a fourth-place finish, trailing Kyle Berck, Andrew Kosiski, and Josh Leonard across the line with Bill Leighton Jr. coming in fifth.

With Saturday’s Malvern Bank Series event nixed by Mother Nature, Pospisil headed to Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) for the final night of Dairyland Showdown. In a field of 37 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Tad recorded a sixth-place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main.
