Tad Pospisil opens 2021 season with win at I-80 Speedway in Spring Meltdown

Tad Pospisil kicked off his 2021 season on Friday afternoon at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the Malvern Bank Series doubleheader. With the 27 car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Pospisil charged forward five spots in his heat race to pick up the eight-lap victory. Locked into the fourth-starting position for the feature, Tad soared to his first win of the season over Brian Kosiski, Andrew Kosiski, Ben Schaller, and J.C. Wyman. On Saturday afternoon, Tad earned the fifth-starting position for the $4,000-to-win Spring Meltdown finale via preliminary events. Improving two spots in the 35-lap affair, Pospisil notched a third-place finish, trailing Andrew Kosiski and Josh Leonard across the line with Jesse Sobbing and Charlie McKenna rounding out the Top-5.
