Pospisil settles for runner-up outing in Hovings and Harken Memorial at Kossuth County Speedway
In his lone start of the weekend, Tad Pospisil made the trek to Kossuth County Speedway (Algona, Iowa) on Saturday for the Hovings and Harken Memorial with the Hoker Trucking and Malvern Bank Late Model Series.
Among 23 Late Models at the track, Pospisil topped the charts in qualifying before finishing fourth in his heat race. Rolling off from the pole in the 25-lap feature, Tad led the first 18 laps without challenge before eighth-starting Jeff Aikey pestered him for the top spot. Trading multiple sliders in the closing laps, Pospisil lost the lead on the last lap and settled for a runner-up finish to Aikey. Justin Zeitner, Chad Holladay, and Bill Leighton completed the Top-5.
Tad currently leads the Malvern Bank point standings.
