Pospisil scores podium finish with Malvern Back East Series at Stuart Speedway
Joining the series for their opening weekend, Tad Pospisil rolled into Stuart (Iowa) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the $3,000-to-win Blackberry Brandy Brawl.
With 28 Malvern Bank East Series Late Models checked in, Pospisil qualified third-quickest in his group before finishing third in his heat race. Rolling off fourth in the 25-lap main event, Tad moved up to the runner-up spot but eventually settled for third when the checkered flew.
Changing gears to Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Saturday, Tad struggled to find speed in his heat race but still transferred to the feature with a second-place run in his B-Main. Starting towards the back in the $3,000-to-win feature, Pospisil pulled off the track on lap 8.
